if Mayweather comes back and fights Cotto immediately

Will he beat Cotto? No tune up or anything, straight to Cotto.

Hard to say, imo. I wouldn't come back after a layoff and jump straight to Cotto. However, if I were going to lay money on the winner, I'd still bet on Floyd.

nobody beats cotto w/ absolutely no problem, but mayweather gets the job done all day everyday, yesterday, today, or tomorrow. it'd be a good fight, nobody gets straight beat the f--- up, but mayweather wins UD......

but floyd's like tupac.....gone, let him be. whether or not you feel he was the greatest while he was around, he was undeniably one of the absolute best.

        Tough to call...

It won't be an easy fight for either guy, but neither wins by a landslide IMO.

I'd put my money on Cotto (being he'd be the underdog and Ill take the action), but Floyd winning isn't out of the question.

I think i might have to depend on Floyd not ****in up his right...
If his right stays intact i can see him bombing shots with Cotto.. i think floyd [even at 147] may hit harder than most think..

However if his right hand does bust than Cotto will be swinging like a mad man..weve all seen cotto dazed combine that with floyds underated power i think floyd may surpise some people..

However he took shots like crazy from Margarito..So that may just blow my opinion right outta the water..

If He does and He loses to Cotto, then People will say he was rusty.

So **** thta fight a tune up fight first. So we can be sure, that he is in shape again to fight. And if he beats Cotto or viceversa, so be it. But you dont take 2 yearrs off, and fight the top dogs, without a tune!!!!!!!!!!

Cotto could possibly win, Mayweather needs a tune up...I don't care who you are or how great, a tune up is needed after a long layoff. Floyd is lying to himself when he said he doesn't need a tune up

Cotto is a top level fighter and if Floyd ain't at his best, then Mayweather ain't beating Cotto. The tune up is important, still I dont think we'll ever see Mayweather vs Cotto
