Why I think Kelly Pavlik Beats Arthur Abraham

There is no way Pavlik can just stand and trade or even counter AA. The only way he wins is by jabbing his way. If he tries to trade, they carry Pavlik out of the arena. The guy just doesn't have the movement or chin to withstand that kind of power.Comment

Pavlik has a good chin so it is doubtful that Abraham will knock him out. All he needs to do for the win is out box Pavlik in the same fashion that Taylor did in the rematch. Abraham is faster and has better lateral movement than Pavlik. In any case if I were Pavlik's manager I wouldn't put him in the ring with Abraham. The money would not be worth the risk.Comment

anyone who saw abraham's last fight has to give the edge to pavlik, however neither pavlik or abraham are elite fighters imo.
abraham is weight drained, he was extremely tired in his last fight and has looked like that for a while, it's no coincidence his best performance was at 166 against miranda in the rematch.Comment

Since when did Pavlik become such a big ***** who can't trade with solid punchers? I swear, that Hopkins fight has you all fooled as to this dude's potential.
I do agree on the fact that Pavlik will have to utilize his long jab to establish distance, since he is taller by a good margin, I believe. But Pavlik always uses his jab in every fight I've watched, so it's not really even worth pointing out.Comment

Seriously f.uckin annoyed for two reasons
1) Had to force myself to sit through this Abraham-Simon crap to figure out why people are on this guy so hard, couldnt work it out during his last fight either.
2) The file was f.ucked and cut off in round 10, was a technically horrible fight anyways
Short of hitting hard, I dont see what's so great bout him, he's wide punching, has dodgy footwork, is static.
That standing in the ring covering up whilst the other guy fires shots at you, wont work in america, they give rounds like that to the other guy constantly.
Germany is a different ball game, some of the scoring ive seen come outta that place is just insane.
Its a pick em fight, i'd lean towards pavlik, just, if abraham keeps landing clean, thats probably a different ball game, but lateral movers give pavlik problems and abraham aint one of those.Comment
