it is amazing that you think that this fight would be so one sided that Pavlik's management shouldn't risk it. It proves you know jack **** about what you're talking about.

There is no way Pavlik can just stand and trade or even counter AA. The only way he wins is by jabbing his way. If he tries to trade, they carry Pavlik out of the arena. The guy just doesn't have the movement or chin to withstand that kind of power.

Sorry my friend but that is a horrible assesment. It is a risky fight for both and a fight worth seeing. True fight fans know that this is a pick-em bout.

anyone who saw abraham's last fight has to give the edge to pavlik, however neither pavlik or abraham are elite fighters imo.

abraham is weight drained, he was extremely tired in his last fight and has looked like that for a while, it's no coincidence his best performance was at 166 against miranda in the rematch.

Since when did Pavlik become such a big ***** who can't trade with solid punchers? I swear, that Hopkins fight has you all fooled as to this dude's potential.

I do agree on the fact that Pavlik will have to utilize his long jab to establish distance, since he is taller by a good margin, I believe. But Pavlik always uses his jab in every fight I've watched, so it's not really even worth pointing out.

Seriously f.uckin annoyed for two reasons

                1) Had to force myself to sit through this Abraham-Simon crap to figure out why people are on this guy so hard, couldnt work it out during his last fight either.

                2) The file was f.ucked and cut off in round 10, was a technically horrible fight anyways

Short of hitting hard, I dont see what's so great bout him, he's wide punching, has dodgy footwork, is static.

That standing in the ring covering up whilst the other guy fires shots at you, wont work in america, they give rounds like that to the other guy constantly.

Germany is a different ball game, some of the scoring ive seen come outta that place is just insane.

Its a pick em fight, i'd lean towards pavlik, just, if abraham keeps landing clean, thats probably a different ball game, but lateral movers give pavlik problems and abraham aint one of those.

I never said he couldn't trade with AA. I'm saying that if he does trade with him, he'll get ktfo. AA hits alot harder than Taylor.

He's an awkward fighter who no ones figured out yet. And the way Pavlik looked in his last fight, he gets destroyed if he comes in fighting like that.

He's Awkward cos he fights in his backyard, a country notorious for dodgy decisions, stands there covering up whilst getting hit with body shots the judges ain't gonna count. Granted, i havent seen him take many to the head and he does have real power, but when he comes out of his backyard and fights a mover, he might find himself in real trouble.

                      Nothing special at all.
