Interesting comment on the setanta page...

'What I want to know is this! At 530pm last night Enzo Mac was running around outside the MEN arena trying to get his Nephews mother in to MEN arena to Watch his nephew Tobias Webb who unfortunatly was Fighting at 5.30pm on the undercard he looked stressed out and more concerned about that than the actual fight,,, He should have explained to his nephew that altough it was his first pro fight he had an important title fight and he would see him at the arena later that night! He was running around like an abosolute and idiot an looked streesed out to the Max, Also the comments by Mr Warren are totally true regarding the sparring! Two weeks ago I was approached by a representitive of Enzo's to book a Hotel room for eitier Derek Chisora or Matthew Ellis in Swansea so that they could come down and Spar Enzo this never materialised its Nuts!'

        Interesting.
Man youre avatar is cool. Trap Door was so great ...

Really looks like Enzos preparation wasnt the best. In the buildup they showed him training his new conditioning stuff, but there wasnt any boxing at all. He also said something about sparring in the post fight interview, but I understood almost nothing...

I think someone in this thread said Enzo Mac would beat Adamek.

That is one goofy looking mofo. No wonder he gets KTFO all the time.

Its Enzo's career, and It was a world title shot.If he couldnt get sparring for himself or proper training then he should have told enzo c that he was getting another trainer in.Its fuqqing unprofessional to say the least.

I've been saying this about Enzo for ages. The TOTY accolade flattered to deceive. His methods are interesting for their idiosyncrasy, but they evolved as Joe evolved, a symbiotic relationship. Joe, himself, is a bit special, not the straight eight. As a wider discipline and boxing philosophy, the 'Enzo Method' is seriously underdeveloped.

On top of that, he's a dreadful cornerman. Fuckin' Dean Powell made more sense in Joe's corner than Enzo ever did, and that's saying something. The angry/loving father dynamic works for Joe as a motivational factor --- being that he's blessed with the intuition and adaptive quality to compensate for lack of practical counsel between rounds --- but that manner won't get the best out of everybody Enzo trains. At best, if the prepared Plan A fails they might be able to ignore the hail of spittle and incoherent barking and try to figure it out for themselves.

You can point to his accomplishment in making alphabet titlists out of some limited raw talent, but that owed as much to judicious and timely matchmaking as much as anything. In the last year the house of cards has come tumbling down and Enzo has looked a bit exposed for what he is. An audacious chancer whose philosophy will need some refining to get him over this plateau, unless he has the good fortune to happen across a stableload of surrogate sons all as intrinsically gifted and responsive as his biological one.

Trainer Of The Year was nice encouragement for some good work, but it seemed to go to his head a bit.

Not doing any sparring b4 a bout sounds like an amateur move. If my trainer was not training me, I'd train my self or train with another trainer in the meantime. Is the guy a professional or a little kid who needs his to be told what to do? I'm sure he knew that he was supposed to train before a major fight.

                    Great stuff GreatJoe

I guess Macca doesn't have the desire to be a pro boxer any longer. I hope he has made some good coin.

warren is full of ****e , he is distancing himself from what happened lastnight regards enzo

Warren talks ****e 24/7 , the **** was on radio this morning and was asked if khan will be a great ,he then sounded awkward and you could tell he was bs'ing , he side winded the question and talked **** for 2 minutes

If he was truthful he'd admit

                      1. khan has his limits and no real boxing future

                      2. macaranelli is dropped and he wont promote him

                      3. it hurts when he pee's
