POLL: Would Barrera have won if it wasnt for the cut?

In my book this was Amirs night he was wipping ass in there, his speed and size advantages were glaring he fought a great fight and i dont think it would have mattered but it was clear the cut DID effect Marco. So im a NO

Also if it got stopped in the 4th or before it woulda been a No Contest right? I think anyway. So thank god it didnt as i had cash on a Khan stoppage and in the fith! But do u guys think they let it go on beyond the fourth in britain just so Khan could get the win on the cards?

Khan was well on top before the headclash.

and it was a clash not a butt.

The fight should have been stopped straight away, but in a way not stopping it lead to the right result, khan did not deserve a NC from that performance.

No, he would have lost with or without the cut. It was a horrible cut though.

Khan was fantastic and Barrera was, well.... SMALL and old

No doubt the cut did him no favours but Khan would have done him either way

Yeah, as I said in a post yesterday, older fighters whose reflexes are going have the toughest times against younger, faster guys which is what Khan is. It didn't help that Barrera is fighting in a weight class that's too big for him and Khan is a big lightweight so he would have lost with or without the cut. The way he was getting hit before the cut made me think that he would have gotten stopped one way or another later on in the fight had the cut not occurred.

Tough to say. Because without the headclash Barrera would have been able to pick his punches better, he wouldn't have been as desperate to knock him out. So, I'm gona sit on the fence and say I don't know.

I don't know to be honest, I expected Khan to outbox Barrera for the opening rounds, then I expected him to get sloppy as a result of fatigue ( physically and mentally) then get caught with shots and lose.

I think the fight should have been stopped earlier and been ruled a NC but that is neither here nor there.

Not saying MAB will win but he would have tested Amir's chin a couple of rounds more, who knows what wouldve happen next.I voted its Amir's night.
