if theres one thing that annoys me about khan its the cliches that he and his camp constantly spew out, i like khan as a guy hes alrite doesn't seem too full of himself and seems like someone who is willing to work hard. buts the amount of ****e that he and his entourage throw out:

"i proved everyone wrong" - errr no you didn't, you proved you can win over a faded, one eyed, past his prime legend. you proved nothing that we didn't already know, we already knew about your handspeed, stamina, power and accuracy - nothing new there. but did you prove that you can take a punch from a legit LW no, until you do you haven't proved anyone wrong.

"the boy becomes a man" - if someone trots this cliche out again im gonna end up putting a show through the TV screen

my personal favourite was the - its a 50/50 fight in the build up to prescott. no khan it wasn't a 50/50 fight youre the better boxer and you had faced the better competition and if you had half a chin you would have got the win.

      "I proved everyone wrong"

You can't lie, that does kind of show how much confidence Khan didn't have in himself if he actually thinks gettin past a old and smaller Barrera is proving something. I mean he didn't even stop him, lol but I'm lookin through some post's and I see a gif of Barrera the featherweight rocking Khan!? lol ****. Anyways, Khan was supposed to win this fight. Khan is the bigger, younger, and faster fighter when Barrera is a featherweight that hasn't even made any noise at featherweight in quite some time, let alone against some younger and bigger lightweights. All Barrera brought to the table was his name, no defining physical attributes. I mean in hindsight, you'd think a rematch win over Prescott would have been 10 times more assuring for him as a fighter. But then again, as badly as he lost that fight, you can't take that fight again.

As for Barrera, it was a ballsy move to take this fight, but not the wisest. Dude's still a legend, it just so happens that it's time to think about retiring.

a win is a win, he worked hard to get that win, good for him. what i dont like is the self praise, if you feel that you proved them wrong then so be it, dont bragg about proving them wrong, let them talk, one advice is for him to be like the PACMAN in situations like this, he is humble. ^^

          Not impressed !

Not Impressed ! The fight should have been stopped right away as the cut was servere , blood running in the eye, we all wanted to see a good fight but these things happen in boxing.
There all getting carried away again, Khan included. What happens if you stick Khan in with Marquez? That would end in a massacre with Khan's only hope being that the ref. would get in there and stop it quickly before he really got hurt.
Fight Presscot and lets take it from there.Khan's a decent kid but chinny and all being equal size, age etc. he would find it hard through twelve rounds at top level to keep that chin from again being expoesd (Don't forget willie limmond)......far from impreesed, lets get real!

he need to save that "I proved everyone wrong" **** until he actually accomplish the goal at hand.......to become World Champion! A premature comment from a immature, insecure kid.

Khan will have proved everyone wrong when he manages to beat a top ten LW, or at least someone anywhere near the top ten. I'm glad i'm not in England at the moment as I bet the media is hyping Khan up majorly now, acting like Breidis Prescott never happened. IMO the only way Khan will win a title will be if one of the boxing associations gift wrap it and just hand it to him and with Frank Warren as his promoter thats more than likely.

If Khan thinks he proved everyone wrong he has another thing coming. Yeah, you set up your next big event but you are a long way from being elite. Lets see you in against some tough fighters.

No..you proved you can go a few rounds with a shot featherweight.

He did actually prove alot of people wrong tbh. Most of the polls were in favour of MAB winning.
