Could McCline be the guy to unifie the titles?

Ok, if McCline can beat Byrd impressivly on Saturday, and thats a big if although I am picking McCline to win, could he unify the titles? If he does beat Byrd, that puts him in a good position to beat Ruiz/Golota winner. Ofcourse the big test would be Vitaly (assuming he's still champ). We all saw what happened when McCline fought Wlad., but Vitaly is a different kind of fighter so McCline's style may (or may not) match up better against the older brother. Also, since McCline lacks amateur experience, he has had to learn on the job and I'm pretty sure he learned alot from the Wlad. and from the Boswell fights.

I'm not starting this thread because I'm a huge McCline fan, but I believe the HW division is wide open right now for someone to come conquer it. Also, athletic 6'7 260 pound guys that can let their hands go are hard to come by and McCline happens to be one of them. Thoughts anyone?

I have been rooting for mccline since he was on the ThunderBox bull**** and it is time to admit that he is a pretender not a contender. He got punked by Klitscho and Michael Grant and Shannon Briggs just suck. He has a good jab, but doesn't commit to any of his other punches so he never really lands too many clean hard shots. He is scared to mix it up and goes into a defensive shell when starts to get hit. He footwork is terrible , he is big clumsy, unskilled and he lacks that real killer instinct. I think B*tch Byrd will outbox him to a boring UD.

I'm not sayin that Mcline is a great boxer or anything but the division is in pretty terrible shape as far as skills go so I dont see why Mcline doesnt have a chance to be champ. First, ofcourse he has to beat Byrd, and if Byrd wins that fight this is a moot point. But if he wins that fight I'd say hes got a shot.

he was scared of wlad , he will **** his pants and froze in the first round if he faces vitaly.

he is too big , he cant move and is damn slow. and doesnt hit that hard for someone his size.

he reminds me of corey "t rex" sanders , a huge guy who can barely box .

no chance in hell McCline can be "the one" He won't even beat Byrd. Byrd will totally outclass the overrated/underskilled Jameel. He is big and strong, but has very little boxing ability,
