Can u have succes in boxing when all u want is the money?

Paulie said he is just fighting now on for the payday. I personally don't think u can be succesfull fighting just for the money. Wanting to be great and wanting it more then anyone is what makes u special. Fighting for the money won't help u beat the guy in front of you because of the other guy wanting it more then you. Plus losing wont help u get more money so what's the point of getting ur ass beat for money?

Like I said, Floyd against Hatton/ DLH really looked like he didn't want to be in there, where as against alot of his opponents at 130/140...dude was having fun in there.

B-Hop is that special fight, who has alot of love for the sport. He has said it before

Anyway, as for the question, yes you could find sucess in boxing, even though your purpose is just money. Imagine living the ****ty lives, Ouma and Miranda went threw, you wouldn't want to go back to that. So you'd put alot into the sport, regardless of weather you love it or not

Ray Robinson was all about the money.

Greed can be a very strong motivating factor, really it is one of the best aslong as you keep your greed at a high level.

Always he was about the money, he boxed to get paid. When he came back it was even more apparent because he came back because he needed cash.

Greed is good, if you have insatiable greed you have almost unlimited motivation.
