Greed is good, if you have insatiable greed you have almost unlimited motivation.
I did a report on him and i read. He loved the sport but he was really hard to negotiate with. He loved money and the sport not just money. But when he came back it was just about the money

Yea, but money was always a strong motivating factor for him. If you are hard to negotiate with money plays a large role in your thought process. He was thinking about his worth and did not want to fight for less then he valued his services.

To me that shows signs of money being his main reason for fighting.

The love for the sport is the biggest drive, look at B-Hop P4P number 3 and the dude is 44. B-Hop has accomplished so much, he has all the money in the world but continues to fight

I do remember when Taylor got hated on here for saying "I'll fight whoever brings the most money". On the real though, very few fight for the love

Not only that, there was a video where SRR said he didn't enjoy boxing, he was only in it for the money. The GOAT said that...I was stunned, I found out mad late

              Makes me think.

Doesn't every boxer perform to get paid? If people weren't getting paid ****, then wouldn't they not fight? No one would go through the pain in the gym and sacrafices to get paid 200 bucks.

No one would fight if they were only getting paid minimum wage a fight. So, money is motivation for every fighter. Regardless of what they say.

Money >>> everything else (being the best, respect etc.)

you learn the bulk of your skills when your young
These top guys only train 8-12 weeks for a fight, if your motivated by money when you first start boxing however then you will probably never make it.

                BUt to each his own
