Oh and on that list of 46 fighters he fought around 36 nobodies so it is hard to say he is amazing. A lot of folks didn't think he had the resume to even fight KT when he did though he definitely proved them all wrong. When you have 38 fights and are undefeated still not having a quality resume it is hard for you to use that argument.

It is not like anyone will beat Hatton it will take a very talented fighter to do so but there will be a few fighters who will know how to side step, jab, and hold as well as be tenacious in a fight. Bradley I think would be a lot of problems with him.

I still can't believe Ricky Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu.

I don't like Hatton but that is a special win. Even now when I picture the two fighting, I see Ricky Hatton getting sparked.

On thread, it would be ****** badmouth Kostya he was beyond that kind of thing.

Kostya never dared to be great...he wasn't the most ambitious fighter around...that's for damn sure.

He didn't even enter the Oscar sweepstakes...hell...he even turned down Zab Judah's offer for a rematch for ALL THREE of his belts.

            Why turn down a chance to become UNDESPUTED 147 Champ..that's legendary **** for a 140lb fighter...especially against a guy he KO'd.???

            Damn..

He didn't even TRY to avenge that BRUTAL stoppage at the hands of Vince Phillips.
I agree that he shoud have avenged the loss to Phillips - that was disappointing. However, you're off on your other comments, Tszyu did enter the Oscar sweepstakes but was eventually snubbed. I had completely forgotten about that until a poster (Manchine?) posted some old links. Furthermore, why would Kostya give Zab a rematch? it wasn't like it was a close fight lol. PLUS, have you forgotten Kostya famously telling Zab "NO REMATCH" after the fight, mocking him because, if you remember, Zab kept saying he wouldn't give Kostya a rematch after he kicked his ass. Ahh, good ole fate .
