I actually had McCallum winning the first 2 fights and Toney the third but the first 2 fights were really hard to score, don't have a problem with it going to Toney. 117-110 from the 2 judges was crazy.

The first fight was incredibly hard to score. I had each fighter winning 4 each with another 4 being dead even, so maybe a draw was fair.

But I can't see how Toney could have won the 2nd fight. Especially now 118-110/117-110 as the two judges saw it. I thought McCallum was much improved in the rematch, especially the way he largely nullified the threat of Toney's right uppercut/straight right which were his two best punches in the first fight.

I thought they both stepped up their games in the second fight, I had McCallum winning clearer in the second fight too but some of the rounds could have gone to Toney so I have no problem with it going to Toney but the scores were ridiculous.

I know a lot people/Toney fans like to act like Toney dominated the Jirov fight, but there were people at the time who thought Jirov should of won that fight.
Decisions which went against Toney were: Griffin I and II and Peter I and II. Toney should have got nod against Rahman first time they fought, but let Rahman come back in the last two. With Rahman being Champion at the time the judges gave it a draw.

Toney handed Jirov's butt to him on a silver platter with the knockdown of Jirov in final seconds of the fight sealing clear-cut decision. Jirov was busted up pretty bad and looked hurt during the fight. Why do you think Jirov was hitting Toney low to try and diminish him?

I had Toney winning the first, McCallum the 2nd (by the narrowest of margins).

I wish this trilogy would've had its ending at super middleweight when James Toney held the title or at light heavyweight when McCallum held the title instead of at cruiserweight when McCallum was old and out of shape and Toney was blatantly disinterested.

I scored the second fight a draw from memory. Would have to check though. I know I scored the first for Toney.
