When Toney worked he looked sharper, more accurate etc
Yeah i dont think he won it either, but Toney fans would have you believe it was a shut out.

I dont see how anyone could say Peter robbed him, when Peter kept the pressure on him most of the fight and that fight was a high contact action fight. Peter also hurt Toney in that fight.

Toney said he got robbed in second fight, and that was a clear loss for him.
I think you can make a case for Toney winning the first Peter and the Griffin fights.

I have never seen the Drake Thadzi fight so I can't say anything about that.

You could make a case for the Peter 1 fight, but it was certainly not a ROBBERY. I dont see how Toney won the 1st Griffin fight though. The second possibly.

Ive seen the Thadzi fight, he got outworked on the ropes no question about that loss.

Spacey - you voted for Toney?! How did you score the fight?

If anyone is complaining about Doug Tucker's 117-110 score for Toney in the McCallum rematch then how about him scoring the Toney-Griffin II fight 119-109 for Griffin?

Tucker has to be perhaps the worst judge that there has ever been.

I thought Toney took 8 rounds against Griffin in the rematch. Thought he pulled out the first McCallum fight, won the first Peter fight, lost to Rahman, lost to Oquendo, clearly beat Johnson. McCallum rematch I never scored honestly. The first was about as close as you can get imo.

Its been ages since i seen the 2nd Griffin fight. That does seem way to wide for the way the fight went. I thought Toney used to jab the a lot more in the second fight, and Griffin was no where near as effective as he was in the first.

I dont understand why they made out the Reggie Johnson fight was that close . Reggie had 4 good rounds and scored a KD, but the rest of the fight was all Toney.

I agree with you. I scored all those fights the same way you did.

I thought the Jirov fight was a pretty clear victory for Toney. Jirov pulled out a lot of the middle rounds with activity, but Toney wasnt getting hit clean and was landing very heavy shots, which showed up in the late rounds.

The second McCallum fight is one of the hardest fights to score that Ive ever seen. Both put on a defensive clinic, there wasnt much to choose from despite the variety of their offense.
