Sometimes on here you feel like your debating/arguing with your lil sister or brother. That's my thing, Facts are facts and they don't try to see it because as far as they are concerned their favorite fighter has no flaws and can do NO wrong. The fact is that Miguel Cotto is a good puncher but that's about it. He can be durable against guys he can intimidate with his power but guys he can't back down, he starts to back peddle & scramble. We all witnessed it in the Mosley fight and most convincingly the Margarito fight. Once Margarito took away Cotto's punch and aggression, Cotto hit the ten speed and peddled his ass off.

Cotto is only dominate against guys who can't take his punch but once you take that away from him then he is all yours. If Mosley would have pressured him the first half of the fight instead of trying to out box the younger Cotto I'm sure Mosley would have won. That's why Margarito trumped Cotto because both depend mostly on their power & pressure advantages & Margarito was just tougher. If Clottey comes to the ring with his A game I am confident he can beat Miguel Cotto.

yeah all of that sounds nice, but you have to compare margacheato to clottey physically clottey isn't as tall and doesn't throw punches and do not have the power (punches) like plaster guy did.(with or w/out plaster) one thing he has going is his stamina. if cotto doesnt train like he is suppose to he might be in trouble in the last couple of rounds
