they don't have to do with anything, unless you're talking about a fighter that has NEVER pressured other fighter and that has never demonstrated to have good stamina

he won't win the latter rounds because he always fades

he won't win the early rounds because he never pressures or gets busy offensively

he won't ko him because he doesn't have enough power to do so with a single punch and never throws combinations, hence he's not a finisher

so yeah, unless cotto's career was ruined by margarito or clottey turns into a new fighter with a new fighting style, he won't do anything unless he KO's cotto. so yeah... in his case, ko power is a make or break factor

Cotto vs Clottey will be good because both styles compliment each other.I think that cotto will frustrate clottey with his speed and his power. Clottey is going to want to trade with cotto but cotto will get the better hand on that. Clottey has a nice straight right hand but that will leave him open for cotto's left hooks to the body and head. Clottey isnt really a knock out artist. Cotto couldn't get to margacheaters body because he was too tall and he had his elbows protecting his body. Cottos speed too will be hard for clottey. I think if Zab Judah didnt cut his eye he would of beat clottey. Cotto wins by a unanimous decision if Clottey doesnt get knocked out or stopped in the 10 or 11th round..oh and about mayweather jr. I love the way he boxes and I think hes a great fighter but he never ever ever Unified titles in any division that he held a belt for and I personally think that Cotto can beat mayweather and possibly knock mayweather out or his corner will stop it.

Floyd Mayweather JR was considered the best in boxing so why would he have to prove that he's the best? He was giving that title because he accomplished it. He did it undefeated for 10 YEARS and is considered to be #1 or #2 Jr Light Weight in the sport of Boxing? Six titles, 5 divisions? What list will Williams/Cotto/Margarito be on when it's all said and done? You guys just feel that Cotto/Margarito could have beat him but face facts Margarito was/is an overrated cheater who didn't deserve a fight with the best and better yet couldn't even earn it.
