Should Vitali Had Quit Against Chris Byrd With The Rotator Cuff?

How bad was it? A fighter I cant think of him at the moment, but I know he went into a fight with a torn rotator cuff and fought all the way through it. Was the fight changing? I havent seen it still, looking to download it.

    yeah he should
the klitchskos are the best in the hw division and to have vitali risk his future by keep on fighting its not worth it
vitali might have lost some respect but pretty much everyone agrees hes a force on the heavyweights and probably the most entertaining of them all

He injured the shoulder during the fight, the 2nd round I believe, not before it. And no, the fight was not changing in any way, all Klitschko had to do was stay up to win.

Which is why Im wondering why he would lose his title like that if he just needed to stay up. But I know it must have been hard even with a light puncher like Byrd if your shoulder is messed up.

He says the pain got intolerable, it either was really bad or he wasn't as tough mentally back then as he is now.

Didn’t Lacy have a similar injury during his fight against Vitali Tsypko, he was able to carry on.

Danny Williams' whole arm was practically flopping about when he dislocated it against Mark Potter, but he still KOed the guy with his free hand. That's guts and heart right there.

PBF had a shoulder injury as well and kept JLC at bay for a Decision!
