even if theres a rematch clause... he would still have the title.
What if IBF or WBO say he gotta fight mandatory? Rematch clause says that don't matter, he must fight Wlad therefore givin it up.

the ibf and wbo are not gonna strip haye of the belt if he rematches the previous champion.

He has given into most of vlad's demands, he agreed to go to germany, agreed to an un-favorable split of the money, and even some of the ridiculous rematch clauses, which were idiotic when I heard them. I am not sure why the negotiations have broken down but I think we should wait to hear an announcement before anyone starts pointing any fingers

What do you base that on?

They have the power to enforce a mandatory, and boxers have been stripped in the past for rematching the champ they just beat.

It was actually Haye, not Wlad that wanted options.

Haye wanted two more fights if he lost - he was negotiating as if he were the champion.
