I think he deserves a chance to avenge his loss, maybe it was a bad night and he just got caught, i don't believe that, but maybe... There was a Frazier vs Foreman II why not a PBF vs Hatton II. (But they'll have to lean on the Floyd Sr storyline to sell ppv)Comment

Nothing from the 1st fight showed me he could beat Floyd in a rematch. it's just a bad style match up for Hatton. he can't and won't fight any other way than what's gotten him to where he is today.
Speed + Accurate punching = A Hatton loss.Comment

Fights that warrant a rematch are ones where the 1st fight was competitive all the way around or if it was a controversial decision.wow....just wow...
There is nothing in the world of boxing realistically to warrant a rematch???
not even if he beats Pacquaio, Mosely, and Cotto back to back to back at 140? and that is realistic...not probable but realistic
but wow...
I guess once you lose to Pbf...Your Done!!
But in this case, Hatton's brawling and bullying style didn't work against Floyd. By the mid-rounds he was looking frustrated and Floyd looked like he barely broke a sweat. By the time Floyd landed the left hook it was almost like you were watching the inevitable. Watching Hatton's fights post his loss to Floyd (Lazcano, Malignaggi) nothing tells me that he's gotten any better to where a Floyd rematch would be that much more exciting. Even if he does beat Pac, people will just say Floyd would've beaten Pac as well. I seriously doubt people would scream for a rematch, even many Brit fans I've seen think the same.Comment

hatton can redeem himself and his country and his pride, AFTER floyd fights mosley / cotto.I just dont like the fact that you guys are telling a Warrior like Hatton that he cant redeem himself for his country and his pride because you rather Floyd fight Cotto???
i dont really care what hatton thinks.... I think floyd vs cotto/mosley is a better fight because we havent seen these fights yet. we already seen floyd vs. hatton, that's not to say that the results will be the same (but probably will), but if floyd is coming back for only a couple fights, I prefer him to fight a welterweight. How does that make sense, I am pretty sure that when Hatton trys to get a rematch with Floyd he is not thinking about Cotto, or mosely...
i admire that too, but he failed and has to get in the back of the lineHe is thinking about all his fans and his country he let down in the first fight.
He is thinking about being the first guy to ever beat Mayweather.
See thats why I like hatton..He wants to be great...he is a humble guy but you can tell he wants to be the best....
me either, but that doesnt make me wanna see hatton/floyd II over floyd vs. mosley or cotto.and I can never knock a guy for wanting to win back the honor of his country and his name...
that's cool... hatton just needs to wait his turnSo if hatton wins..I hope he gets his rematch..with my personal feelings aside of who i want to see fight floyd..
because I guarantee you alot people want to see hatton advenge his lost to floyd..Comment

Mayweather Jr.-Hatton is a closed file. People can talk about Cortez, but Floyd was beating Hatton inside when the fight went there, so the slightly clumsy officiating is a non-issue.
The outcome of this fight will say more about where Manny's at than Hatton.
If Pac wins, there's no doubt he deserves a fight with Floyd (if Floyd is forthcoming).
If Hatton wins, you got to suspect Manny just took on too much.
Hatton's a weird proposition, anyway. He defies his limitations. If he beats Manny, I can see it being the result of an uglyass clinchfest doing dirt that Manny isn't protected from and doesn't possess the know-how to neutralize.
In that scenario, I don't personally want to see Floyd coming back for anyone but Mosley or Cotto. But money talks.Comment
