I think that Mike could have had point if there wasn't like half a round to go anyway. He was in a shell cowering in the corner and still getting hit with good shots. Had the fight not been stopped then Ortiz would have just pummeled him horribly anyway for the rest of the round.

Stoppage was premature. Ortiz only landed one punch in his flurry at the end and that was an uppercut, which rocked Mike but did not leave him defenseless seeing that he resumed his guard before any more punches came his way.

I'm not an Arnaoutis fanboy but I disagree with the stoppage, Smoger would have let the fight continue.

i really think it was stopped prematurely but imo,arnoutis would have beaten the ten count period if the ref had just called it knock down.ortiz looked good,future p4p fur sure!
