I know what you're saying about wanting to see the most dramatic finishes in a fight possible, but in a high action fight like Margarito/Cotto, it's more constructive to appreciate what we were actually given as opposed to what didn't happen.
For the record, I think Cotto quit, but I don't label him a quitter.

He gave his all until he couldn't anymore, so I can't blame him.

Imo, he quit in the literal sense of the word.

But I don't see it as a bad thing.

I'm still a fan either way.

Save the ****ing sad story for daytime TV....

Malignaggi didnt quit against Cotto he took his beating like a man....and we praised him for it.

Gatti and Corralles wanted another round with Mayweather when he was soundly beating both their asses...and we praised them for it.

Clottey didnt quit aginst Margarito with a ****in shattered hand...and we praised him.

Mayweather didnt quit aginst Castillo when his shoulder rotator cuff was torn.

Margarito took his beating like a man when he couldve stayed down.

            Pavlik didnt quit aginst Hopkins.

            Lacy didnt quit aginst Calzaghe.

How many times has Corralles quit?

            Duran quit.

            Freitas quit.

            Zu quit.

            Oscar quit.

Anyone criticizng Cotto for his decision at the end of that fight is a complete Noob and should likely be more worried about graduating highschool.

                    Ummm wow.....someone is pretty bitter.

Number 1......My post has nothing to do with how much money Cotto made for fighting anyone.

Number 2....What the hell did my post have to do with Paul Williams?

Number 3....Lets re-read my post and come up with a mature adult intelligent counter argument rather then the childish rubish you just posted.

                    Thanks in advance.

if a warrior never surrenders, then that's not cotto. but its not cotto's fault he was beaten into submission. he did the right thing in quitting. there was no use to getting KOed. he was a beaten man already.
