I come from a traditional martial arts backround, I believe in a certain amount of respect and honor, and to throw a punch at a man who is offering you his glove is cowardly, I dont care what the circumstances.
fair enough. i honestly think it was just a reaction from kirkland to fight. i don't think the thought process was anything like, "this guy's hand is out, he's at a disadvantage, let me tag him." only james knows for sure, but it looked to me like he was just going about his business and didn't even realize what julio was doing.

I'm going to give Kirkland a pass because what you wrote is probably pretty close to the truth.

second, another rule of the ring is you can't hit on the brake.
and hell yeah, people where pissed off when Mayweather did that dirty ass ****.
anyway, you sound like a scumbag yourself, your fam. probably didn't show
you anything about respect and sportsman like conduct so I don't blame ya.
You're going to turn into a crybaby too?

Oh, you're a Cotto fan, I guess its expected.

Why are you ignoring the fact that the ref said for action to resume?

and no, people weren't pissed at all to make a big deal out of it, because there wasn't any reason for the action to be stopped.

lol bringing up family values in this.

I guess when nothing else works, you have to resort to bringing up my family.

        Go pluck your eyebrows.

This is basic logic that people aren't getting.

Kirkland enters the ring to kick ass. Not to get respect and be friends with his opponent.

The ref motioned for action to continue and thats what he did.

The fact that people are crying about it is what is truly funny.

Its not like it changed the outcome of the fight or anything.
