OTH, JMM looks like a very small Lightweight, who is really a blown up Super Featherweight, and who relies on his superb boxing skills in order to be able to beat naturally bigger men even at Lightweight. And although he looked good against Casamayor and Diaz, he didn't dominate either man except in the final rounds.

Peak fighting weight is all about frame and body type, it has nothing to do with vital statistics.

Mayweather also doesnt relies on power just like JMM, He relies on his superb boxing skills in order for him to compete and beat natural bigger men than him.

Pacman has fought twice above 130 David daiz and oscar so its easy for him to carry his power up against diaz who is limited and oscar at 147 (Last fought there 2001)..

      That should tell ya' something.

If you watch Margarito fight, Mosley transfers his whole weight in his punches leaving him unbalanced at times. Mayweather would counter this and exploit Mosley badly

Anyone can say I want to fight him. Calling them out is something different. Hatton wanted to fight Floyd at 140 and said this, when PBF was campaigning back then at 140. He did not call out Mayweather years later

This calling out is getting ridiculous. Did Baldi call him out? No. Did Margarito call him out? Yes. You see, when they decide who they gonna fight it means nothing who calls who out.

All night long,I dont know where people get this **** about Shane Mosley.

The guy had very quick reflexes once upon a time, when he gets in the ring with someone who puts a jab on him or times him, the problems start. Even when people thought he was P4P1 Vernon Forrest Decapitated him and had him and stumbling around for a few rounds, because his head is always up and his hands down.

This version of shane has less refexes than before, thus why miguel cotto was able to jab him consistently and actually looked to have the faster hands in that fight than him.

He beat the human punchbag after cotto softened him up a few months before, that doesnt equal anything against mayweather.

Imo, Mayweather has always been a bad style match up for shane, when floyd called him out years ago roy jones said the same thing, mayweather would create distance and time shane coming in with right hands and hooks.

I kind of agree with you about that, But you need to have something going for you to be able to call out a top rated fighter.

If you dont then you can call them out a million times and nobody would give a toss about it, The thing is only Oscar,Mosley,Hatton and cotto has something about them in 2006-2007 for Mayweather to fight.

Hatton said he wanted to take tune-ups before he target the best fighter in the world at the time,Mosley said he has things(Toothache & Family holiday) to do, Cotto wasnt put forward by arum even after Mayweather left him, Oscar was playing ball with Mayweather until after mayweather beat Baldomir.

He was left with Cintron,Margarito,Spinks or the linear champ at 147 in Baldomir and out of all the 4 candidates Baldomir brought more to the table than the rest.

Baldo did his calling-out by becoming the unified Champ at 147.

Tony had a WBO trinket and a win over Keyvelos.

Floyd would have been laffed out of boxing for choosing a WBO ****-strap over THREE real belts.

Tony didn't have anything Floyd wanted..if he did..his slow-ass would have been Gatti'd already.

Ray, Hatton has a huge following and eventhou he was a good test there were other fighters who were bigger names and called Floyd out, like Margarito. If he thought Cotto was too green, whatever, that's fine too but he should fight someone his own size who actually has a good chance of beating him as he fought Castillo and Chico back then.

What kind of revisionist history is this?

Floyd was laughed at for fighting Baldomir! Then ended up crying in the press conference. The bigger fight was absolutely Margarito and nearly everyone preferred that over Baldomir. Geezus, give it a few years before we start pretending Baldomir was everyone's choice.

Floyd is not about who you beat but how much money he is going to make. He wouldn't have fought Bruseles, Gatti or Mitchel. He had an 8 mill offer to fight Margarito and turned it down which has his biggest offer at the moment, after that he was able to negotiate somthing close vs Baldi, but it was a while afterwards.
