I am sorry Tracylee, but you got the wrong impression. How did you come up with "Lennox Lewis is not afraid of Vitali"? I was referring to all of the boxers who avoid big fights. I feel Vitali does not avoid big fights. Jose asked me if I like Vitali. I then said "yes", and explained why I like Vitali. That is all.

He still put on a hell of a show... Both fighters did!!! And that is whY the fans want to see a rematch!!! That was one of the best heavyweight brawls in a long time!!! Give credit to both fighters!!! We probably won't see a fight like that in the heavies for a while!!!
It was a even fight i agree but Lennox's punches had abit more in them than Vitali's did. I enjoyed watching it, i was shocked that it was actually happening. All the build up was worth it. I respect Lennox's decision for retiring, he had achieved everything he needed to in his career. Vitali seemed to think he needed Lennox bad but he will have his own fights and maybe his own sucessful legacy.
I also forgot to add that the fight was even and it was a out of shape Lennox so technically if he would have been in shape we MAY have seen a different fight. Either way it was definatly the biggest fight out there.

No problem (and there wouldnt be a "problem" even if you had meant that ; I just would have to disagree ). It just seem's like all of Vitali's fan's keep implying that the only reason Lewis retired is cause he's afraid of Vitali. I wasnt sure if that was what you meant or not, that's why I asked, more or less

The fight wasn't even. Vitali was ahead, quit fooling your self by your biases. But like you said, Vitali needed Lennox to get his claim to fame. Now that Lennox is retired, there are no big fights for Vitali unless he fights his brother or Roy, but that ain't going to happen.
If it was an out of shape Lennox or not, it doesn't matter. In boxing it is about being in top condition every fight.
                  Technically you could say...
...if Vitali came in better shape he could have KO'd Lewis in 1.
...if DLH trained taking punches to the body, he may have came out on top.
...if Roy Jones' glove was an inch forward, he would have beat Tarver.
...if I got the best trainers and everything, I would be the one to knock off Hopkins.

However, it was a good fight none the less, but i didn't proved who was better that night. But it did prove that Lewis does not have a glass jaw like most people think.
