Well, we have to remember that not all judges score in the same manner. We've seen that judges have scored fights on just punches and not the effectiveness and some score on what kind of damage the punches are making.
When a fighter rolls with a punch, especially in the way that moves in the direction the punch is going, sometimes you can't really tell if it landed or not as a judge. In that fight, a lot of the punches MAB rolled weren't countered.
Its not like Floyd who will stand and roll 1 or 2 punches, then throws a hard right and moves out the way. At that point, you have an idea of why Floyd allowed his opponent to get so close.
