Just because Miguel has standards and morals doesn't mean he is scared. I know its hard for Margarito or his fans to believe that, especially since he cheated and his fans support a cheater. Miguel is a stand up guy and I have agreed with everything he has said about this suspension.

It's a given the rematch won't happen in June. But Cotto is now trying to avoid a rematch all together by leaving Top Rank just cuz Arum is trying to take care of one of his fighters. Cotto probably figured Margarito would be out of the game for about a year and a half (he'd have to re-apply for a license after the 1 year suspension) and come back hella rusty.
In the mean time Cotto would have stayed busy and be in a better position to win the rematch. But now Tony's gonna fight in Mexico and Cotto is jumping ship based on "principle"? LOL, he's leaving Top Rank cuz he knows the rematch offer is gonna happen sooner than he would like and leaving Arum is the easiest way to avoid another beatdown.Comment

Just because he likes to party doesn't mean he doesn't have standards and morals. If those pictures are a sign of not having morals every young, and wealthy male would be screwed. Anyways, the man is probably hurt inside and you would be too if you were in his shoes. His whole life he had never lost and then all of sudden he gets stopped by a guy that is now suspended for illegal wraps. You would be screaming from the top of your lungs if it were you. u guys are all ridiculous come really this is a dumb thread both of them are not scared of each other and cotto has said nothing of not ever giving margarito a rematch, he just said he doesnt believe that margarito should be able to fight anywhere if he cant fight in the U.S. im pretty sure hes entitled to his own opinion, and just because he wont fight him this year doesnt mean he's scared just means he's smart he wouldnt gain anything out of fighting a fighter that just went through a whole lot of controversy it would be dumb to fight him this year, fighting a clottey at this point would do more for his career than fighting margarito, i think people should get off of the band wagons on either side and start thinking for themselves theres to many biased people in these threads on both sides. margarito is innocent of until proven guilty all we have on him is speculation no one knows for sure if he did have them on during other fights on margarito and his team knows that, yes his punishment for his actions before the mosley fight is right on, he takes ultimate responsibilty of what goes in him and on him no excuses, thats the bottom line if you mess up you pay the price get over it.Comment
