    I don't want PAC-JMM III!

This is all about for JMM... Pac has nothing to gain in this fight...

If Pac beat JMM , then JMM is old and he will get no credit...

    I say I boycott it...

You do know the Mayans predicted the end of the world in 2012, right? The first tell-tale sign is Pac-JMM 6....

If ANY trilogy needs to be made to resolve something, Pac-JMM would be the one.

      But that's just me.

For some reason most people who don't want a 3rd fight between Marquez and Pacquiao are Pacquiao fans.

****, if they have a 3rd fight anywhere near as good as their previous ones, I'd be calling out for a 4th... and a 5th... and a 6th... Say, what's the most amount of rematches 2 fighters together have ever participated in?

I say if any rematch is worth seeing, it's worth seeing as many times as it needs to be until there's a decisive winner. Pac-JMM is just one of those matchups I could watch again and again if it lived up to expectations, and was close. Gatti-Ward III (especially after the washout of II), on the other hand, simply wasn't one of those matches. People call it a great trilogy... I reckon only the 1st fight was great.

Why would you not want to see two guys fight for a third time when their first two fights have been FOTY exciting? Pac has everything to gain because it could finally give him a definitive win over the only guy to have run two even fights with him.

But, on a much more important level, why would you not want to see them fight again? They have created two amazing fights before and there is no chance of their third fight being any less exciting.

The only reason I can possibly see is that, as Silencers pointed out also, you are just another of the Pac-fans that for some weird reason don't want Pac to fight Marquez again, maybe because of the possibility of him losing or something, I don't know. As a boxing fan though, this is easily one of the best fights that can be made in boxing. Who, as a boxing fan, would not want to see them do it all again?

As a rabid Pac-fan shouldn't you want to see him finally put a final decider on it? See him try to KO Marquez? It should be easier for him this time around, as Marquez is getting a lot older no matter what anyone thinks and his reflexes have slowed considerably and it will be at an even higher weight which will favour Pac, him being the harder punching, younger, more prime fighter who's frame also helps him take the weight better.

You could finally see a stop to all the "Marquez is better than Pac" or simply have the rejoinder "Pac beat Marquez twice so **** off!", therefore it should stand to reason that you should absolutely want them to fight again.

See this is a prime example of what I mean when I say, for example, that a Calzaghe-Popkins rematch should never happen. The 1st fight was **** and awkward to watch, so why would fans of either man want to see another display? It was close, but it looked like ****. Even if Calzaghe would've lost the SD, I'd be thinking "Well, he lost in a **** hugfest of a fight. Time to move onto someone else and not bother with all that avenging-a-loss crap".

Meanwhile, on the far opposite end of the spectrum, you have Pac-JMM. Their 1st fight reeked of boxing awesomeness. Their 2nd stunk of pugilist brilliance. So why would any boxing fan in their right mind not want to see a 3rd fight that could potentially give off a strong, pungent whiff of sweet science masterpiece-ness?

                    Yeah, what?
