This is the best post.Genetics (big fists, broad back, strong bones, fast-twitch muscle, height, length of arms)
Technique (staying balanced, rotating your hips while turning on your punch, throwing compact shots)
Intelligence/Timing (knowing where and when to place punches, knowing which shots have the best chance of landing after picking up on an opponents style/rhythm, ability to anticipate and understanding to adapt)Comment

Well it's not a must to have large hands, but it certainly helps. I'm sure people with small and normal sized hands can crack too. Another thing with the hands that people don't think about, making a tight fist upon impact; so grip strength is important. This is one of the very first things I learned in the gym.Comment
