Speed, technique, accuracy and timing mainly but then you get those natural punchers like Foreman, Shavers and Jackson who don't need either to hurt you.

Really you got to look at some of the hardest punchers. Like Frazier's, Tua's and Tito's left hook...they put all their weight behind those punches, like them, I step, turn my hip and shift everything into that punch but again, like I said

A strong back contributes to punching power, its your whole body...you need to know the twsiting motion can't think of anything else but if you got something new for me, I want to know

Genetics (big fists, broad back, strong bones, fast-twitch muscle, height, length of arms)

Technique (staying balanced, rotating your hips while turning on your punch, throwing compact shots)

Intelligence/Timing (knowing where and when to place punches, knowing which shots have the best chance of landing after picking up on an opponents style/rhythm, ability to anticipate and understanding to adapt)
