Being P4P is in hypothetical in form but there are many factors to consider & basis to observe...its a contribution of many observations based on boxer's record, personal experiences, odds/record breakers, etc. w/c mainly credible experts based & some intelligent fanatic followers depend...we have so many resources in the internet, newspapers, tv, reading articles, etc...so its up to someone to understand, analyze & assess situations & fighters...

    There's a moron, an average, a genius person, etc....where do u think u belong...

Hatton's wins over Magee, Phillips, Tackie, Hutchinson, Stewart, Oliveira, Tszyu, Maussa, Collazo, Urango, Castillo, Lazcano and Malignaggi seem to get overlooked, dismissed or just nullified for moving up and losing to the P4P #1 (PBF) in a fight that was much more competitive than the score cards read. Through 7 rounds the fight was at least even and HBO had Hatton ahead on their card in spite of the biased ref. Hatton was P4P ranked in the top 5 before his loss to Floyd and should not have fallen as far as he did after 1 loss to the best. Other guys in the P4P list have multiple losses but yet they didn't fall like Hatton did in the rankings for some reason. I don't remember Chico getting discredited for losing to Floyd the way Hatton has...

To be fair, no one(besides brits) thought much of Hatton before the loss to PBF, and still dont.

Apart from the boxing experts, who rated him at #4 P4P, and millions of boxing fans worldwide who think differently from you and who like his fighting style (he has a large latino fanbase, for instance).

Showtime and HBO also obviously thought highly of Hatton to give him a huge contract to air his fights in America and for both those networks to pay Hatton that kind of money he must have some people/fans in America watching his fights.

Haters, nuthuggers and trolls get a bit ridiculous on NSB and there seems to be more and more of them here making logical boxing debates and discussions impossible... I have close to 50 of them on ignore.

Weight concerns for Ricky is not about making the weight on weigh-in time. Problem with reducing a big chunk of weight in a short period(6-8 weeks) is the effect on skin tissues. Rapid dehydration makes Ricky cut so easily. It could be that rapid fluid loss(25lbs) makes the skin 'brittle'. i believe Ricky will get cut when hit by Manny's pops.

Dude, stop it. That's either a blatant lie or blatant ignorance.

The fact is, he's never been stopped on cuts; and even when he has been cut, it has usually been a result of head clashes rather than punches.

This guy has ricky hatton p4p #2 and is trying to argue.

HBO and SHOWTIME are interested in the money he brings. No one ever said he doesnt genereate money. thats why everyone wants to fight him. He brings money and really is very overrated.
