Khan vs MAB - debate

I don't see MAB havin 12 rd stamina. I think he's gotta get rid of Khan quick or lose a decision via the younger guy's workrate.

I think Khans size and reach advantage will be the difference, he has fast hands so im expecting him to pick MAB off at range.

Barrera is years past his best but will still cause big problems for Khan should khan try and play to the crowd and trade.

Even though im not realy a fan, i think Khan could reach a good level if he turned into a points fighter, who uses a fast jab and size advantage to pick up the win.
Only problem is that they have been trying to market him as the new Naz (a ko artist that puts bums on seats)who wasnt exactly a boring points fighter now was he.

Agree with everything there, but for one thing: I don't think he needs a hugely long training camp because he has been pretty active recently. It's not like he ballooned up to Hatton-like proportions, he's already fit and almost ready.

Could be wrong. It's just a thought, anyway.

Its the sparring side of things that worries me, with that cut he would of had very little sparring, if any, and against a fighter as fast as Khan he will need to have that sharpness and timing that only sparring can bring

Im sure it was ment as a joke, but if he faught in that style i think he would have a lot of success. Hes hugh at the weight and has the speed too.

it was a joke but at the same time the truth..he would be better..he doesnt have the chin to trade shots..you have to know you limitations in boxing..and wlad knows his and its made him a better fighter

Tbh im no really fussed who wins, i think it will be an entertaining fight. i got Khan by UD though, unless Barerra quits on his stool maybe?

Look there is no debate......

The bottom line is, Barrera is an old man and WAYYYYYY past his prime. This is not an excuse, it's the truth.

If Khan wants to be a lagit contender in boxing, he HAS to beat an old fighter like Barerra.

It's a good stepping stone for him because Barrera carries a name more than anything else. It should be an ok fight because Barrera is a seasoned vet and knows how to survive in the ring but Khan should beat him.

If Kahn loses to a washed up Barerra at this point in his career, he's not the real deal.

I think people forget how much heart and determination MAB has. He's been in the **** and he's never backed down. Khan is going to have to beat him every step of the way. Also, MAB will still retain a good deal of his power if he can set the right trap to land on Khan. While Roach probably has a very intelligent plan to protect Khan's chin. Do not be surprised if MAB and his team set up some very clever traps to get MAB safely inside or Khan trapped in a corner or along the ropes. Also realize that if MAB does get Khan in trouble, he will be very efficient at closing the show. Khan can definitely win this fight but he has zero room for error and he may have to go above and beyond anything he's ever done in the past. Hopefully it doesn't end like the Prescott fight or with Khan escaping via Michael Jennings type bike ride.
