WTF are you talking about? With the exception of Corrales, Floyd was pretty much bigger than every super feather he fought. It looked like man against boy in every fight. Unless you're trying to imply height equals bigger.

You would think Floyd was a career welterweight…When he was a weltherweight he was the smallest one in the division…Can somebody name 1 welterweight Floyd was bigger than when he was in the division..???

So When people say Floyd needs to beat a real WW and stop fighting on smaller guys?

They say that like Floyd 1st or 2nd division was WW and he has been fighting Small guys his whole Career....

          Context
          The WW Division

          Cotto's: 2nd Division
          Margarito's: 2nd Division
          Shane Mosley: 3rd Division
          Andre Berto: 2nd Division (1st:160)
          Joshua Clottey:1st Division
          Kermit Cintron: 1st Division
          Paul Williams:2nd Division (1st:160)
          CarlosQuintana:1st Division
          Floyd Mayweather 4th Division

If you say Mayweather has grown into the Welther weight division even though that is his 4th Division

          PLease Answer this Direct Question:

1.If Mayweather Has grown into a Natural WW, What Have the Other Fighters who have been in the WW division Grown into if that is their 1st or 2nd Division..?
or do you think that Mayweather is the only fighter who Grows in the Division?

          (w.a.w)= Walk around Weight
          Floyd Mayweather 4th Division (w.a.w) = 150
          Cotto's: 2nd Division (w.a.w) = 170
          Margarito's: 2nd Division (w.a.w) = 174
          Shane Mosley: 3rd Division (w.a.w) = 165
          Andre Berto: 2nd Division (w.a.w)= 164
          Joshua Clottey:2nd Division (w.a.w)= 170
          Kermit Cintron: 1st Division (w.a.w)= 160-162
          Paul Williams:2nd Division(w.a.w)= 165
          Carlos Quintana:1st Division(w.a.w)= 163

Goggle: Fighter Name Walk around Weight

Floyd Mayweather seem like the only unnatural ww in the division to me...when he was their... and the smallest...

So what is this obession with him fighting guys in a division which is his 4th and it is their first of 2nd.. If he never cared for the division, and that is not his natural weight?

90% of Mayweather career has been at 135 and under...90% !!!!
what does that meaned to you guys????

Floyd vs. Pacquaio are closer in Size then 98% of the welterweight division
Floyd vs. Hatton are closer in Size 98% of the welterweight division
Floyd vs. JMM are closer in Size 98% of the welterweight division

So you can say that you think that Floyd is too skilled for fighters his own size..but please dont say he should fight real ww's, when he himself is not a real welterweight...!! 90% career proves that!!
So wait...now Floyd shouldn't fight guys like Shane, Cotto, or any other Welter because he didn't start at Welterweight and that JMM, Hatton, and Pac match him in size better?

Pacquiao is in his 4th or 5th division and is fighting guys who are apparently bigger and stronger than him, but he seems to be jumping at the opportunity to take the fights, same with JMM. So maybe Pacquiao should fight Chris John and Vic Darchiniyan too?

C'mon man, Floyd is a prime Welterweight, end of story. It's not that he doesn't have the size or ability to fight these guys..he just chooses not to.

He might target Pac, but he won't fight any of these other guys, especially top WW's. And til he says he's gonna fight, the hell wit em anyway.

My thread is about in terms of size Floyd is closer to Pacquaio and Hatton rather then Floyd vs. 98% of the Welterweight Division...

Now Proved How I am wrong?
You can say he is a prime welterweight..because he was or is in his prime and his last division was welterweight..but compared to other welterweight in the division... Mayweather is small...

If Mayweather Has grown into a Natural WW, What Have the Other Fighters who have been in the WW division Grown into if that is their 1st or 2nd Division..?
                or
do you think that Mayweather is the only fighter who Grows in the Division?

Name 1 welterweight floyd is bigger then??

See the problem is people got used to floyd fighting bigger fighters all the time, that when he fights somebody his own size or smaller therE is now a problem...

How come people dont say Paul Williams vs. Floyd is a mismatch
But people will say Floyd vs. JMM is a mismatch??

                Paul Started at 160
Floyd started at 130 (where he spent 70% of his career)
                JMM started at 126

Floyd has spent less then 10% of his career fighting above 140...less then 10%

So You tell me who is closer in size....

I can do that with the whole Welterweight division not just Paul...
maybe it is pointless trying to get you too see the point...but that is the point.

What is the problem with Floyd fighting fighters who are the same size as him or smaller then him???

why does floyd have to be at a disadvantage in order for it to be a fair fight???

Why is ok for Floyd to fight a fighter coming from 160 but not a fighter coming from 130....? when floyd came from 130??
or any division close to 130?

If Floyd is so small then why the hell is he fighting at WW, why doesn't he just move down to lightweight again.

Anyways I don't see Mayweather fighting anytime soon, he's way too busy trying to figure out a way to add an extra room and two extra bathrooms to his yatch.

Name the 5 fighters floyd was bigger than ?

                    At Welterweight (nobody)
                    At Junior Welterweight (nobody)
                    At Lightweight ( Same size)
At Superfeather Weight ( this is the only division where floyd was fighting people his own size)

                    you pick..

No because Marquez would not retain the weight well. At 130 it would have been, but that would be in Floyd's prime
