Man, are you REALLY throwing in percentages of where Floyd had most of his fights? LOL what does this prove?

It's a natural progression for fighters to move up in weight as their careers continue. Some guys stay within a few pounds, some keep moving up. Floyd spent a good amount of time at Superfeather, but he was a virtual nobody to the masses. He moved up in weight and continued to show improvement and learned to be patient and became a very intelligent fighter.

But the way you're making it seem is that he's not built to fight at Welterweight, otherwise you wouldn't make a thread about percentages of time in a certain division and where he excelled. That's like being the bully of your school and you fight a bunch of kids you know you can beat and once someone on your level (height, weight, etc) comes and tests you you're no where to be found.

So in too many words, you're basically sayin Floyd ain't built like that to fight a Cotto or Shane and he peaked as a fighter at 135 lbs. Floyd ain't 45 years old, he's still in prime condition and can fight competitively at WW, he just chooses not to. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't know Horus i agree with you to some point sir. For instance I will say this take Miguel Cotto for a example he fought his way through 140 and was the Champ down there but he faced much better competition at 147 in Judah, Mosley and Margarito. There might be a fighter who fights at junior Welter Weight his early days and we all know most fighters stay more active in their early days but moves up in wieght later on and captures a title at a higher weight calss defends that title and faces tougher competition at that weight...I will say this i agree with you to some point and for most instances....Lefty
