Polish website reports Hopkins vs. Adamek is in discussions

Adamek is a tiny CW that barely fights at 200 fight night, while Hopkins has come in at 190, so the weight difference won't be huge. Bernard never gets hit cleanly against faster fighters than Adamek, so he'll probably be able to survive the 12 rounds. Win/win for Hopkins, if he wins, his stock goes through the roof, if he loses, hell he was 44 jumping up 25 lbs in weight. Strange that he wants 1.5 mil in this fight, but turned down 4 mil to fight Kessler, another chance to add a belt in a third division.

Now that is interesting. Doubled his money to face Calzaghe last minute backing out of that fight, yet then fought someone for less than either amount.

Not interested in Kessler for more money and a weight he could get to even easier.

I hope he beats Adamek though if it happens.
