It's your opinion. Cumulatively looking at the quality of fighters each had beaten, I have to put Pac above JMM.

Norwood,Pacquiao 1,John are all questinable defeats.
that was an old barrera which he barely won, but still a victory. im stating the fact pac has done more to be p4p number1. a win over diaz and casa is not enough to put him ahead.

That's why P4P lists are pretty much useless, especially as you move further down the list. They're all opinion. Nothing can be proven.

and to be over critical. casa was 37 coming of two shaky fights which he should have lost. diaz is a young warrior but he is not the same after the campbell fight. it would have been a greater victory for marquez if diaz was still the undisputed champ, but that title went to campbell prior to his move in weight.

Counter punchers always have close fights that are open to interpretation. From James Toney to Mike McCallum, they just do enough to win and they dont usually extend themselves any further.

However we all know Marquez beat Barrera clearly. Im a bigger Barrera fan than a JMM fan, but i felt JMM was the winner. Even when i watched it live on SKY i felt Barrera had lost by about 2/3 rounds.

Morales was not in his prime, when Pacquiao beat him ,infact when Morales had something left (the first fight ) he handled Pacquiao pretty easily. Zahir Raheem beat Morales before his 2nd and 3rd fights with Pacman.

You can be over critical of anyones resume, for example

Haters will always say Pacman only beat a shot Barrera/Morales and lost to Marquez therefore has never beaten a great fighter in his prime.

Haters will always say Hopkins' biggest wins are against smaller fighters moving up in weight to face him: Trinidad, Oscar, Winky, Pavlik.

The sad fact is you can nitpick anyone's resume.

because their fights were close we are judging marquez and pac through accomplishments. for you to say marquez's accomplishments are better than pac is delusional. pac just beat a junior middleweight (no one new the affect of the weight drain) and marquez beats diaz in a tough fight. accomplisments pac>>>>>>>marquez

Your using the word accomplishments, because going on hard facts(paper) Pacquiao has better wins, but that is before you go into whats behind the numbers, then its a different story.

Im not delusional. you are delusional, if you think you cant make a case for JMM based on what, he has done.

I have no problem with you thinking pac is the better fighter, but please dont act like im delusional or crazy for saying i believe Marquez pips him in the P4P stakes.

I take nothing away from Pacquiao. We could say that both fighters debut at LW was against lesser quality opposition but a Marquez KO over a prime fighter vs a Pacquiao TKO over a weight drained older fighter (I'm really not taking anything from Pacquiao because it was a masterful performance) just weigh's that slight bit more on the scale for me. Again, razor thin edge for Marquez in the P4P rankings.
                    your reasoning is flawed...

                    1) casamayor was pretty much shot when JMM got him

                    2) nat campbell already beat diaz

                    3) pac only had 1 fight at lightweight.

marquez's 2 wins at lightweight (against a shot fighter (casamayor) and a defeated fight (diaz who lost to nate campbell) doesnt trump a limited fighter (diaz) and a former middleweight (DLH).

not to mention that Pac has 2 victories over Marquez (the draw was really a victory if not for the scoring error, and the rematch was a close decision).

while picking JMM as p4p#1 isn't ridiculous, it also has no basis in reality.
