I'd say a 10 would be Pacquiao, Marquez and maybe Hopkins and Mosley as well, formerly Mayweather and Calzaghe. 9 would be those just outside of the top 5 p4p and 8 would be those just outside of the top 10-15 p4p which fits Adamek, in my opinion.
He isn't one of the all-time greats but soon he has to be rated among the best cruiserweight champions of all time (which there aren't many of in the divisions short history).Comment

He is a very good exciting fighter who does a good job at adjusting to win his fights like he did against Banks, He has his flaws like a lack of head movement and very leaky defence but no fighter is perfect, I dont think he should move up to heavyweight yet there are plenty of good fights for him at cruiserweight like Enzo Macca, Fragomeni, Cunningham rematch, Jones and maybe even a Hopkins fight, Cruiserweight seems to be his perfect weight at this moment. I rated him a 8 i cant really rate him above that as it was not that long ago that he was completely dominated by Dawson weight drained or not.Comment

pretty much my thoughts alsoAdamek is a really good fighter, he has his flaws but he works past those flaws and pulls out the W most of the time, I just hope his punch resistance stays with him for a few more years because of how much he relies on his chin, once that chin goes, he could be in trouble. He technically isn't the best fighter around either but he finds ways around that so he's an all around good fighter. A 7.Comment

I'd give him an 8 or an 8.5
He's one of the top 15 or 20 fighters in the world, and one of the best champions in any weight division. There's lots to like about him:
- has one-punch knockout power
- smart adaptable fighter
- fights good opposition
- has held titles in two weight divisions
- fights often
- lots of heart
- excellent resiliance, recovers quickly and completely after being hit hard
- usually comes forward aggressively
- doesn't waste his punches, we don't see many wild haymakersComment

Adamek is a very solid fighter all around. I first saw him in the Briggs fights and the first thing that jumped out at you was his heart and determination. Both of those guys were throwing everything they had. Two great fights.
Once I looked past that in their second fight I saw that Adamek actually has a degree of skill and technique. He doesn't waste a lot and he puts his punches together well when throwing in combination. His technique gave him the edge over Briggs.
I was surprised that he beat Cunningham. I didn't think his punching power would be as effective as it has shown to be. I wasn't as surprised with Banks who hadn't really shown me much.
I hope Adamek continues to do well in the future. He is a good fighter and he's good for the sport.Comment

That had nothing to do with being weight drained. He looked like he had no idea how to fight a southpaw. All he did was paw his jab for 12 rounds, it was horrible.Comment
