Some people on this thread are saying that Sturm is a bad fight for Tito. I respectfully disagree...I think Sturm is perfect for Tito. He cannot hit that hard and Tito can be hit and he isn't fast or technical enough to stay away from that left hook. Remember that Sturm looked his best against a fat De La Hoya. Look for Trinidad to pressure hard and land something big, maybe early given Tito's recent propensity to come out of the gate hard.

This will probably be more of test of Sturm than Tito, Sturm doesn't have punching power, we'll find out if he has a chin when he tastes Tito's power, Sturms' chin will be checked. If Sturm has really great technique he'll last to a decision

Sturm is a fighter who knows his limitations and doesn't stray off his game plan. He only throws jabs and crosses because his hooks would leave him exposed. If I remember correctly DLH caught Sturm with a solid counter when he opened up a little and started throwing hooks early in the bout around the second round. After he was somewhat stunned he never again threw hooks while Oscar was in range to counter. He is a smart fighter that could frustrate Tito and has enough zip on his punches to keep him at bay. But all it would take would be one solid punch from Tito and Sturms defense plan would go out the window. Interesting fight that could come down to the judges. Right now I would give the slight edge to Tito.

this is good for Sturm, a great test for his chin and boxing skills, but wasnt hopkins going to fight him in DEC. ? If Sturm can with take Tito's punches then it will be a long night for tito, I dont see Tito out boxing Sturm
