I just saw on the newspaper that there's another fighter that could be facing Tito his name is Markus Beyer...Any info on him?...also Don King says that he will wait till the Winky-Mosley fight to anounce Tito's next opponent...the other opponents already named are: Maselino Masoe, Jermain Taylor, Sturm, Mosley, and Wright. The only thing for sure right now is the date March 12.

Yeh, no problem.Originally posted by borikuaI just saw on the newspaper that there's another fighter that could be facing Tito his name is Markus Beyer...Any info on him?...also Don King says that he will wait till the Winky-Mosley fight to anounce Tito's next opponent...the other opponents already named are: Maselino Masoe, Jermain Taylor, Sturm, Mosley, and Wright. He has held the WBC super middleweight title three times, but didn't do anything in any of his reigns. He originally won the belt from Richie Woodhall back in 99, and defended once, stopping Lief Kieski (whom I have never heard of) in his next fight he was knocked out by Glenn Catley.
He beat Eric Lucas controversially to win the belt a second time, got a controversial disqualification against Danny Green, and lost to an Italian middleweight named Cristian Sanavria, whose only previous loss came at the hands of infamous French middleweight Morrade Hakkar. He stopped Sanavria in a rematch, marking the third time he's held the WBC belt. He never deserved to win the belt rom Eric Lucas, and should have been stopped in his fight with Green. He has good boxing ability, but has largely gotten by because he's a German who fights in Germany. He's also not much of a puncher, earning only twelve knockouts in thirty two fights.
Simply put, fighters like him are the reason boxing is suffering.Comment

I think a lot of people are under estimating Sturm. He didn't look super impressive against DLH but he should have gotten the decision. That was the first time I have seen Sturm but I think he could be very good. That jab is just nasty and from what I've heard he can put his punches together more effectively after the jab.Comment
