"I fought the best caliber fighters and I was successful doing it. The fight against Mayorga will not be different, I know he’s dangerous, but who wasn’t in my career." - Felix 'Tito' Trinidad

Okay, so if Sturm's taken, who is Bernard going to fight? Will he take the mandartory against Eastman?

I thought sturm beat de la hoya in june, he seemed to have good defense, a buddy of mine compared him to winky wright , i.e. the elbows in tight and a good stance, but i think trinidad has too much power for FS, Oscar can't **** at 160, but Tito as we all know can, i think it will be interesting, but i def. give Tito the edge based on power and knowing that trindad has fought the best, who has sturm fought besides a fat De la hoya and Robert frazier, if you guys recall sturm was to defend against Ikeke, but then Oscar wanted the wbo belt and Golden boy ended up signing Ikeke, thus paving the way for Oscar, but i think Sturm would have lost to Kingsley

Again, Karma to Tito for not slcking-off and finding some guy who will just roll over.

Sturm was pretty much ignored/unknown until DLH, but warranted some respect for taking some good shots to the body while sticking a hard straight jab.

Hopefully Sturm would get busier though and keep that jab going and use it to setup some good combinations. Otherwise, he doesn't last against Tito. Also, DLH helped Sturm look good by showing-up fat. Tito won't disrespect Sturm and himself that way.

i don't think that there is any choice for him. If not, I'm sure that these sanctioning bodies are aching to strip him of a belt, theres a lot of talent in the 160's. Hopkins isn't about to let anyone just take a belt, looks like eastman it is.

As for Tito/Sturm, Tito has never seen a jab that he wouldn't eat and Sturm, yes he may be powerless but he has a very good looking jab that will land as long as he throws it. Watch the Tito/Joppy fight, Joppy must have landed 60-70% of his jabs.

The question will be Sturm's defense and chin which are still both unkowns. Regardless of the outcome however Sturm is going to hit Trinidad with the jab at will, if he can find something else to be good at in this fight like ring generalship, footwork, movement then he has a real shot at outpointing Tito. But we will se what happens when he tastes the Tito left, it may be over before Sturm can land those hard jabs.

I will be extremely curious too see what the odds look like for this fight, Sturm will be a very live underdog and for the right price he is certainly worth a play!
Looks like you should stop picking against Tito.

Felix Trinidad looked better than ever in his last fight. Granted, Ricardo Mayorga was a good foil for him, but he did show us some new things. He kept changing the distance, and he threw his punches more compactly than he had before the layoff. Sturm has a nice jab and hooks off it well, but he gonna find a shifty Tito who won't keep his head still long enough for double and triple jabs. Tito's gonna counter with right hands over the top and left hooks to the ribcage. Eventually, Sturm will get discouraged and Felix will really take over. Then it's lights out.

Are you serious? This is his second fight back. Give Tito a ****in break. Furthermore, I'm sick of you guys callin everyone a *****. Oscar's not a *****, Tito's not a *****, Hopkins isn't a ***** and neither was Roy Jones. They don't always do what you think they should. Deal with it.
