Dawson's camp was interested, but Kessler refused to move just 7lbs moaning about Dawson being a drained "Cruiser" - and yet no doubt he will fight a blown up middle weight in Taylor somewhere along the line.

No, Palle is pissing away Kessler's career by being over-protective. He is a leech.

yeah but ultimately a fighter controls his own path. he signed with Palle in the first place

he could have tried to get away sooner than he did

          etc.

Kessler has to shoulder the majority of the blame at the end of the day, it's his career, his talents being squandered

Pity Kessler was idle about the Dawson and Miranda fights....
I would have lolled if this post wasn't so pathetic. Kessler travelled around the world to face Mundine and to Wales to face Calzaghe.

            Pull the other one....

Dawson refused to fight Kessler at 172 despite calling Kessler out. Talk about growing a pair.

Maybe Kessler should fight Dawson at 175.

Indeed. Kessler himself signed the contracts. Also the last one which gave Mogens Palle a 3 fight option arrangement. Kessler signed as the contract was approved by his manager. The managers name is Bettina Palle. Daughter of Mogens.....

Hence the dispute due to the dual role of Bettina Palle.

S.G., I'm surprised at you. Often people get locked into a contract which isn't working out well for them. I know all about this myself, having had to deal with shady contracts in the music business. It's really depressing. I don't hold Kessler fully responsible, I do believe he wants the best fights.
