JMM- had multiple belts in 3 divisions he fought in. He was able to stay active and preserve his longevity in the sports. Has key wins against locked hof like mab and cassamayor

morales- has the BEST resume out of the 3 but lack longevity in the sport. he faded too quickly.

Mab- he had an up and down career. he got pummeled by jones and then went on to win against hamed and morales. then he got pummeled by pacquiao then went on to win a title at 130. he struggled to win at 130 with the exception of fana and then lost a lopsided decision to marquez
I still like morales and mab over jmm.

casamayor was shot and diaz already lost to nate campbell.

C'mon guys, give JMM his credit please. Hes 35 and he is the only one out of the three still fighting and winning at the top. He just beat a 25 year old top light weight. 50W-4L, has never been stopped, never said "I quit." He would have had a win over Pac before Morales if only he had not under estimated Pac in the first round of their first fight. There is a very good chance he would have had a win over Naseem Hamed if Hamed's team hadnt ducked him. Actually engaged in full combat and tried to win in the second pac fight no matter the consequences, unlike Barrera going in there to survive(not get KD or KO) and get paid. Always fights with much heart and gives it all he has. Yes, for the time being, TOTALresume and accomplishments are a tad short from Morales and Barrera. Its not his fault his early career didnt take a great path because of horrible management and promotion. Didnt win his first title till he was 30, his second title shot. Went to Indonesia to get his title back for low pay because thats how much he wanted it, lost via home town decision and 2 home town point deductions. Had to rebuild his career back up since then...at age 32.

Again, hes 35 and still fighting at the top, still persuing the most dangerous fight out there with pac. There is a chance that by the time his career is over, he will surpass Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera in terms of accomplishments and resume. One of the hardest workers in the sport, he has to push himself to contend as he does at this stage and weight in his career.

              Juan Manuel Marquez
              Erik Morales
              Marco Antonio Barrera

I admit i'm biased but i got Morales #1 being such a huge fan of his and well in his early prime he had so many great wins and title wins. and he was able to do something that neither Barrera nor Marquez were able to do and thats beat Manny Pacquiao!!! Had the shortest career of the 3 but with his aggressive warrior mentality to always put on a show made it obvious that he was gonna slow down soon! His run though was incredible!

This was tough but i got Barrera 2nd although Marquez has closed the gap. Barrera is just to me one of the greatest pure boxers in the history of boxing. Was a bit of a brawler early in his career but then became a great technical fighter and yet could still brawl with the best of them well except pacquiao. I thought Barrera beat Marquez by 2 points but the refs which i think was Cortez bull**** i think cost him the fight. Still Marquez has proven to be a master counterpuncher and is as good as adjusting to a fighters style as i have ever seen. His run at lightweight basically unifying the division has been incredible and if he is able to get a 3rd fight with Pac and beat him well he will go ahead of Barrera on my list and very close to Morales.

i probably ranked morales b4 marquez cuz to me his career seemed unfulfilled. he always talked about being the first mexican born to win 4 divisiional champ but never had the chance since his body quit on him. he had a chance against diaz but lost a close decision/some say he won
