How would you rank JMM, Morales and Barrera now

this is how i would rank them

JMM- had multiple belts in 3 divisions he fought in. He was able to stay active and preserve his longevity in the sports. Has key wins against locked hof like mab and cassamayor

morales- has the BEST resume out of the 3 but lack longevity in the sport. he faded too quickly.

Mab- he had an up and down career. he got pummeled by jones and then went on to win against hamed and morales. then he got pummeled by pacquiao then went on to win a title at 130. he struggled to win at 130 with the exception of fana and then lost a lopsided decision to marquez

          Barrera
          Marquez

Barrera did not lose a lopsided decision, he lost a cloes decision and imo he should have won, if he hadn't got the point taken away and the knockdown had been scored properly he would've won IMO

LOL @ lopsided decision - most people had barrera winning that fight.

It wasn't that lopsided, but most writers scoring the fight had JMM the winner.

I had Marquez winning, but it certainly wasn't lopsided. If the knockdown had been counted and the silly point deduction hadn't been given away, Barrera might have nicked it on my card.

                    Morales
                    Barrera
                    JMM

I think Morales has the best names on his resume and even though he is 1-2 with Barrera those 3 are very close fights so looking at their common opponents which Morales beat 2 who beat Barrera and also looking at their list of wins at 122-130, I feel Morales had the better wins outside of the Hamed fight. Hamed and JMM were really the only 2 guys I wish is would have fought but didnt. He didnt really get a chance at Hamed and they tried to negotiate a JMM fight but that fell through.

He got his first title back in 1997 at a young age, so I think he had decent enough longevity, yeah he fizzled out in his early 30s, but a lot of guys do. I think his longevity is on par with Barrera's really. No way should he fight again and risk damaging his legacy.

I had a hard time with placing JMM and Barrera. JMM is kicking major ass these days, though if you go back in the day the reverse is true and Barrera had bigger fights and bigger wins and JMM didnt have the big fights. Its hard to judge it now at this time, plus JMM isnt done yet, so when they are both finally retired and some time has passed you will be able to get a more accurate feel. JMM may surpase Barrera, maybe he already has.
