All Marquez had to do was let him get a little tired even if losing some rounds, hit him strong to the body and then when he was getting slower and predictable just pick the right spots with bad intentions. And that was it. Floyd is an all different animal in the ring and im sure Oscar knows it. Anyway great winn for JMM yesterday, was a great entertaining fight where nobody held their punches back.
I can tell you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to Marquez, Marquez didnt' always fight like he does now. For entertainment and money fights, he fights the way he does. Floyd was lucky that fans accepted his style. Cause people have walked out of a Floyd fight during the fight.

GBP should get over this. JMM was already knocked out in a fantasy fight with Floyd.

JMM has never even stepped up to 147, meanwhile Pacman, Cotto and others have and still a fight with them isn't yet convincing enough.

How on earth does JMM stand a chance, and how is he relevent in that mix, or how would Floyd be ducking him of all those people.

Osca is mental, and clearly still not quite grasping a fundamental part of the game he's heavily involved with, which is weight divisions.

I'm beginning to think ODL seriously does put mythical p4p rankings way above any more reliable meaningful division rankings. Him owning Ring is frightening at times.

I would pay a PPV to see, Floyd vs. J. Marquez fight. And with out a doubt, many would as well.

Whatever happened to the nonsense of Mayweather being underrated on these forums as well? All I've read about potential bouts between PBF vs Pacman and PBF vs Marquez is along the lines of: Opponent x is made for Mayweather. Floyd wins by wide UD or KO. How is he underrated when most people wouldn't give the current P4P #1/#2 a chance against him?
Nothing is wrong with retiring from your job if you don't have the passion for it anymore, in your prime or not. The man asking for 20 mill isn't rediculous at all. He's retired, if you want him to come out of retirement pay him or keep his out your mouth. That's what he's saying.

But for those who like statistics, he'd be the first to win belts in four divisions, yes - unless Barrera can do it first.
Thanks Dave... and not to mention Erik Morales, he's planning to return on July.

Oh god, it has started already and Mayweather hasn't even spoken yet... Mosley, Cotto and Pacquiao makes more sense than Marquez, end of story... only if Marquez's promoter can guarantee Floyd at least $20,000,000 then he wont fight, and if they are going to offer him that they would just make a Mosley or Pacquiao or even Cotto showdown!

It is like what people are saying, he called out Mayweather to spite Pacquiao... he is just playing mind games to get that 3rd crack at Pacquiao, that is definitley the only fight on his mind now. He wouldn't reject an offer from Mayweather of course but he isn't really being serious about it.

People are just trying to cause loads of **** to try and make Mayweather come out of retirement... why should he if he doesn't want to? why should he if his heart isn't in it? Oscar De La Hoya will begin to piss me off if he starts making that **** up all of a sudden.

Mayweather is retired, if he wants to stay that way... then keep it that way.

That JMM-PBF won't happen... not the JW issue.
If Pac.. a much smaller fighter than JMM, can go as high as WW... I believe he can be effective against the top JW's
