Delahoya is just a bitter *****.He should just provide the $20m or keep quite. If Floyd was willing to go up to 154lbs to beat Delahoya why would he be scared of taking on a smaller man.Floyd is faster than JMM and has better defence.JMM gets hit too many times and he cant beat Floyd end of story.

What a fan you are... Everyone knows Floyd whoops Manny when they fight... but its cool to cling to hope. LMFAO. Everyone just loves throwing rocks at the throne. Let the man be, if he chooses to come back (which i think he will) then he'll fight some more. But the things about Floyd being scared of every boxer in the sport are ridiculous. Every Sunday morning I log on to read some kind of article about the boxing match from the night before and they always correlate t to Floyd somehow. Face it guys.. we are just all very anxious for him to come back because boxing needs that arrogant little prick to stir things around again.

It would be an awesome fight. But it will never happen.Oscar is right. But JMM vs Pacman or Hatton is more interesting to me.

If Oscar wants a fight between Marquez and Mayweather or Mosley and Mayweather, all he has to do is guarantee Mayweather $15 million (I believe he will settle for 15 million), but to offer his the same amount of money that he made fighting Carlos Baldomir before he fought De La Hoya and Hatton is insulting. But there is no way Oscar will agree to pay Mayweather that much money. Oscar knows about insulting. He lowballs everyone he fights and expects them to thank him for the crumbs he throws them. He also knows about ducking (see Antonio Margarito). You Mayweather haters shouldn't forget that Mosley turned down two chances to fight Mayweather when he was actively fighting -- the last time was because he had a freaking toothache. I believe Mayweather will come back, but it will probably be against the Hatton-Pacquaio winner (aka Hatton) and he will make a hell of a lot more than 20 million on a second Hatton fight.

I love this reasoning which appears on here regularly: if you have a better defence, you will win. How come fighters that are primarily offensive get slated for being one-dimensional, but fighters that are primarily defensive don't? At 130 Floyd was a beast, truly all-round and extremely dangerous. As he's moved in weight though, his game has become far more defensive and relies a lot on potshotting.

Wilfred Benitez had a greater defence than Floyd, but he still got beaten by a great offensive fighter in Ray Leonard.

Marquez might not have the speed/defence of Floyd, but his offense is very good. To say that he wouldn't stand a chance is ludicrous. Floyd might be better at avoiding shots, but Marquez is better coming forward. I'd lean towards Floyd winning that fight, but I certainly wouldn't say its a foregone conclusion.
