          • Look who's talking, the guy that told the boxing world that he'd face the winner of Margarito-Cotto????? What happened there Oscar; who's ducking now?

            • Oscar is the last person in the world right now that should be criticizing any fighter just as Floyd is the last person in the world Marquez should be calling out.

Marquez was lucky he faced a guy with no pop at 135 because he was getting hit flush all night. His boxing has slipped and his defense is made worse with his more aggressive style. What weight does he intend to face the Twenty Million Dollar Man? JMM needs a reality check more than the multi-million dollar check.

And when he was ready he took the fight...simple.
I have seen interviews with Mayweather's team claiming that, but I have never seen a single interview in which Hatton says that, and no one here has been able to link to one - and there were many interviews with Hatton at that time in which he said the exact opposite, and I have linked to two examples, from 2005. And Hatton invited Floyd to be ringside at the Maussa fight, in order to promote interest in a Hatton-Mayweather fight, and Mayweather declined and talked about how he wanted to fight Judah.

You're showing yourself up as a hater. He won't be considered the greatest of all time, and may not be considered top ten of all time, but he was considered by all boxing experts to be the P4P #1 for several years up to his retirement. You might not like his arrogance, and he certainly is arrogant - but if you let that blind you to his abilities as a boxer then you aren't a true boxing fan, you're just a hater.

I don't like Mayweather the man but I can admit he's an incredible fighter. I also believe that if he doesn't fight the best of his era, he can't be considered anywhere close to being the greatest of all time.

Boxers are defined by the poeple they fight, if he continues to stay retired or not fight the best of this era, he cannot be considered anywhere near the top.

I also believe that he beats Marquez easily. I love Marquez but he's 35 and speed kills. There is no one faster than PBF IMO.
