Marquez is one hell of a fighter.

His defense isn't great but his offense completely makes up for it.

His chin is pretty good really, he has been put down a few times but always gets back up and fights.

Holy ****, I did not expect a knock out. I seriously thought he was in trouble at first. Diaz can keep up that pressure for 12 rounds, which is scary. But he adapted and connected one of the most beautiful combination counters.

He cleaned out the Light Weight Division. Best Counter Puncher in the sport today. A well deserved 2nd place p4p list. If he moves up to 140 he deserves a fight with Pac-Man or Floyd. And if feed him Nate and Hatton.

JMM is just amazing to watch in the ring to come back from getting knocked down or getting hit and then swing back man last night when he was put on the ropes and diaz was hitting him with some punches i swore i thought he was going down then he started swining back at him it was a great fight

He dissected Diaz. He figured him out by Round 4 and then implemented his plan and destroyed him. AT 35. AND JUMPING up for yet another weight class.

If you can't respect him you don't love boxing. The guy's stance is picture perfect. He can fight inside, and outside. He can adjust.

THE ONLY REASON you can hate him is racism, nationalism, or just not understanding what the sweet science is really all about.

JMM is the real deal. I've been saying this for a while. Time for the haters to give him his props.
