I agree but I would say that's his warrior spirit. He could easily outbox a guy like diaz but he wanted to trade and his spirit got him caught in a war.

If you look at his hand positioning it's perfect.

When I or my coaches trained people the best pros to watch would be guys like JMM or Hopkins. Guys who keep the basic stance while still punching.

Great example for boxers who are up and coming.

JMM is technical excellence. Period.


He dissected Diaz. He figured him out by Round 4 and then implemented his plan and destroyed him. AT 35. AND JUMPING up for yet another weight class.

If you can't respect him you don't love boxing. The guy's stance is picture perfect. He can fight inside, and outside. He can adjust.

THE ONLY REASON you can hate him is racism, nationalism, or just not understanding what the sweet science is really all about.

JMM is the real deal. I've been saying this for a while. Time for the haters to give him his props.

I love smart fighters. Fighters that can adjust. Fighters that stick to the basics but have different gameplans.

I just saw a JMM is overrated post. **** that.

I was screaming for the him to throw uppercuts from Round 2 on. Seems like JMM knew that all along and was setting it up. Picture perfect.

He got hit at bit in this fight, but the only reason anyone noticed it is because Diaz is a LOT bigger AND the guy is ****ING 35 and way out of his natural weight class.

If you felt you won a fight and requested a rematch only to have the other person blow you off because it would be too risky to fight you again, you would be frustrated as well.

Marquez only has two recent losses and one is to Pacquiao.

I find the whining offputting at times, but I understand it. They were close fights. He wants another shot.
