Why the hell do you always have to come in with a bullsiht pseudo psychological Dr.Phil spin on anything you don't agree with?

So I didn't like Diaz going into this fight, so that equates jealousy?

No, I just never saw him do anything amazing in the ring that wow'd me. I guess he just needed the right opponet to do so, and tonight he did. All props to Diaz but you're reading much farther into this than necessary.
I think what bothers most people about Diaz is that he looks out of shape and cant punch. If he looked in shape, and couldn't punch, or looked out of shape and could punch, people would love him, but the combination just makes him look lazy.

Agreed. Quitters don't get up after 3 knockdowns and a broken nose to battle back for the next 11 rounds the way Marquez did in the first Pac fight.

Marquez doesn't get enough credit for his balls. We all know he's an offensive dynamo, and is a master of his craft. But the dude is ballsy too, he's got the heart of a lion, packed into that tiny frame of his.

I actually described the reasons I disliked Diaz earlier tonight, and his baby fat/pudge belly was #2 on my list. Surpassed only by the freakish third nipple obviously.

All due respect though, the boy earned my respect tonight.

If it was simply based on performance then you wouldn't attack him on being a "goody two shoes" is all I'm saying.

LOL!! Yeah I think when your teams get better then your blood will be pumping for them again, but probably not like Boxing. Teams sports can get me amped at times especially football, but boxing is the only sport where I get goosbumps (usually during good exchanges or tremendous rounds) and where my hands are sweating.

Well I have to point it out. The same way I point out the fact that Chris John looks like a mongoloid, next thing I know you'll be telling me I'm jealous of his looks.

Nothing else in the sports world even comes close.
It was a wonderful fight but I'll be the naysayer here....Marquez is a special fighter, talented, fights with heart and intelligence. Many boxing fans, boxing media and more importantly maybe Marquez himself, judge him based on his performances against Pacman and what Pac has achieved thus far. I dont think thats fair or accurate. He is great in his own way.

But he was also very close in this fight to getting knocked out at one point, overwhelmed at another by a fighter who is a volume punching machine but not a heavy hitter. The cut definitely turned the tide in his favor and Diaz showed some stripes as far as inexperience goes. Realistically I think Marquez is taking too much punishment in each of his fights now. He is probably a little on the small side as far as 135 goes and if he goes up higher this void will widen. I would love to see him vs FMJ but honestly Floyd would be too much in too many ways for Marquez. I can only hope the trilogy with Pac happens for us the fans.

Man, there was so many expectations about this fight that anything less would have been a disappointment. But after Round 1, it was clear that this fight would live up to to the anticipation. Honestly, I thought HBO was subdued in their play-by-play. If there's a better fight this year, I'll take it. Nothing like history in the making.
