You are right, Cotto, Mosley, or Pacquiao makes way more sense than Marquez... people just jump on the bandwagon too much and think Marquez will destroy Floyd because he KO'd Diaz (when the fight was close before the KO).

Also people gotta realize that Diaz is not and I repeat NOT of the same caliber as Mayweather, any real boxing fan knows this.

calling out mayweather is a step to far for marquez. hes too small and mayweather wants 20 million garantee. shane vs may can bring in about 8 mil. he wont fight shane after his win what makes marquez any different other then that hes never fought above 135. all in all good as fight good night for boxing. and much respect to jmm. i was pulling for diaz in this fight. then i saw the cut then i said aw hes ****ed. and marquez seemed to have no problem with his cut

He was rated #2 P4P before the fight. Diaz was thought to have a style to trouble him due to Diaz's workrate and Marquez's age. AFAIK no-one predicted he'd get a KO. I don't think anyone in this thread has said he is God? But he has certainly cemented his #2 P4P ranking.
