How come Paul Williams is rank higher than Miguel Cotto

It's boxing, everybody gets hit. Unfortunately for Cotto, Williams is technically very good and Cotto won't clinch. If Margarito was teeing off on Cotto how do you think that a well-trained fighter like Williams is going to do? Don't be mad - I would likely pick Vernon Forrest to beat Cotto too.

Paul Williams technically good? Come on now, be real. Paul Williams is not technically sound in any way shape or form. He's a tall fighter that fights as if he's Cotto's size. He has no defense, and a pawing jab that he doesn't use enough.

Saying Paul Williams is technically sound is crazy. I'm not saying he can't beat Cotto, I think it'd be a really close fight. But if he does, it's not on skill, it's on sheer size and physical advantages.
