i agree that adamek has the power to ko hopkins or basically anyone his size or smaller but hopkins isnt a guy that anyone can hit cleanly, point blank, hopkins is one of the most elusive fighters in recent history. his chin and defense have been proven to be top quality over his career and era of boxing.

i think adamek is huge up against hopkins, especially when it comes to the fact that adamek is dropping weight to fight at cruiserweight which he could easily fight at heavyweight, and even though being a smaller heavyweight, adamek has athleticism and natural power, plus a good chin, decent skills, patients, and a solid work rate. one thing that i have been really impressed with in adamek, and it's been something that he's done very well in his lsat series of fights, is his adaptability in the ring, lately in his fights, we've seen adamek take his time and even lose rounds to figure out whats going to work in beating his man, and lately after the dawson fight, he's figured out his opponents and got the win. now, doing such a thing against a crafty guy like hopkins is hard to do and once one figures something out a guy like hopkins is already making a change as well, not to mention, as soon as something works, the fight is over. BUT when you have the physical advantages like adamek does it makes doing different stuff in the ring easier to pull off.
style wise i say hopkins can beat him, but the size difference and the athleticism of adamek not to mention being a solid fighter throughout, i would put adamek as the favorite and it would be up to hopkins to prove everyone wrong. whether or not adamek stops hopkins, i seriously doubt it, no one gets a chance of a clean shot on hopkins..............

That's not a bad post. Hopkins is clearly a better boxer but that's quite a leap in weight he would have to make against a guy who is usually pretty busy and takes on everyone.

I could see Hop losing on workrate but if Adamek is at all tenative, Hopkin in an easy decision.

But dude would be 44 going up 25 pounds. Doesn't sound good at all.

It didn't sound good when he was 41 coming off of back-to-back losses and going up to LHW from MW to fight "the man" either!!

I'll never rule bhop out, thats for sure.

              Yeah, I don't either.

Father time may catch him though, we are just waiting for that.
