I also find this whole thread very funny, because Wlad Owns talked endless **** about how badly BHop will get KO'd by Pav, and how he is gonna make the disappointed face of Hopkins his new avatar. Did this on multiple accounts! Then bet me and had the nerve to never pay up when Pav got that ass schooled and is STILL not convinced by Hopkins' greatness. Then went on to talk **** on Pav. I on the other hand was at that fight, won a lil over 100k internet points on the fight, a couple thousand from betus.com, and will likely be at Hopkins' first Cruiserweight title fight to see him conquer yet another challenge. I'm also one of the few who is still a Pavlik despite his first loss (as embarrassing and devastating a loss as it may be), and look forward to him dominating the middleweight division.

hopkisn has been down twice in his career (possibly due to altitude problems) i have never seen him hurt in a fight, his defence is superb....

No, not those fights really. I haven't watched them in a while. Just in general I think. Yeah, I remember Echols being particularly dirty though, and Mercado.
Edit: Regarding Altitude: B-Hop just got tagged real good in that fight with Mercado. It wasn't because of altitude problems and it happened early in the fight. Nono you right. He does it against Tarver, a lot of the uppercut while holding the head. He also was doing it a LOT in the first round of the rematch with echols, which initiated echols first MAJOR foul of complaining in a break and then turning around and bombing hops with the right hand. Although there was a LOT of bad blood from the first sketchy fight. There was the second Robert Allen fight. He fought Allen perfect, the ref couldn't see any of the **** he was doing, but Allen bitched and moaned and tried relentlessly to faint and get Hopkins DQ'd throughout the entire fight. He also mugs Carl Daniels a lot on the inside. Hopkins isn't as dirty as people say, but he's definitely crafty and gets away with enough roughhouse tactics in there to let the opponent know who's boss and who's gameplan will be derailed. I think your post pretty much nailed his antics dead on.Comment

pavlik wasnt smaller, hopkins was a middleweight himself not too long ago and left the division for new challenges after losing to taylor, not because he couldnt make the weight...and pavlik is a big strong middleweight, very tall also
tito was a massive welterweight, and a big jr middleweight who filled out well into the middleweight division, no one made any comments about how he was apparently a "small" middleweight when he was knocking guys like joppy the fuck out....hopkins may have been a bit bigger naturally but that wasnt the deciding factor in the fight, it was hopkins skill
oscar well yes he looked a tad small and even a little pudgy at middleweight to me, ill give you that one
people always forget how hopkins jumped up to face the bigger tarver also
