Hopkins would probably have to travel overseas to fight Valuev, and that could spell trouble with Valuev's ties to the shady end of boxing. I'd love to see 'Nard as HW Champ, but not at the risk of him kicking Valuev's ass, and then getting jobbed on the cards, ending his career with an official loss to a loser like Valuev.

Valuev is a nobody I'm sure Goldenboy would make him come to America. There is a lot more money in this fight than the Adamak fight, and it would actually sell PPVs.

While in a clinch on the opposite side of the ref, he will dig in short little shots right into the hip/top of the thigh around where all the thigh muscles converge at the hip. Screw your legs up over a fight and is definitely a low blow.

Mercado also had some dip game. Man I was kinda shocked at how much he saw of bhops attack even through hopkins' angles and footwork. Still, as much as hopkins missed Mercado, he never got frustrated enough to wind up lookin like an opponent on a pbf highlight. I'd like to see more Mercado fights to see how he fairs against other champs. How accessible are those fights?
